Bonstone Materials Corp., Mukwonago, Wis., introduces Touchstone Silk epoxy, an exceptional translucent adhesive for making nearly invisible miter joints in white and light-colored marbles and engineered stone.
The U.S.-formulated and -manufactured two-part adhesive offers the exceptional performance of an epoxy (strength, durability, longevity) with the added advantages of non-staining and improved UV color stability (resistance to yellowing). Touchstone Silk is designed for interior and exterior applications.
It is a translucent milky white, knife grade product which can be easily tinted with Touchstone tints. Mix ratio is 2-to-1 by volume and sets up in two hours at 70°F. Silk is available in a variety of packages from quarts to 5-gallon pails.
