THE UNIVERSITY OF CERAMIC TILE AND STONE, San Diego, announces the development of a new course: “The Complete Guide on Developing Tile & Stone Specifications with Architects.”
The course provides the student with information on how architectural sales representatives can get their tile and stone products specified. The course covers selection process and consideration, types of architectural specifications, the formats for writing architectural specifications, tracking and protecting the specifications, as well as tips on getting your products specified, and communication skills and strategies.
Students will be provided with a tile and stone MasterFormat Specification template they can use to assist architects.
Cost of the course is $300 per student or a two-member discounted tuition for CTDA, NTCA, TTMAC or Fuse Alliance members. The course takes an average of seven hours to complete. Online courses are available 24/7 for 14 days from the start date.
When the course is successfully completed, the student can print a personalized certificate and a link to download a student reference guide with all of the key information from the course.
