GRANQUARTZ, Norcross, Ga., now offers the Escort ELF air-sampling pumps manufactured by Zefon International, Inc., of Ocala, Fla.
Designed to assess the quality of air in a workspace, the Escort ELF features a state-of-the-art electronic laminar flow sensor to provide a constant flow control within 2.5% regulation of air flow (from 1-3 lpm) with automatic compensation for changes in battery voltage, temperature, altitude, and sample load.
An internal secondary standard calibrates the pump continuously, maintaining OSHA compliance, and needs to be checked against a primary standard only once a month or every 200 hours. Other features include an inlet filter to trap moisture and particle matter, exceptionally quiet operation, a run/hold feature that allows for “time out” during the sampling process, and an elapsed time readout and low-battery warning.
The sampling pump also comes with a two-year warranty and is sold in a 5-pump kit that includes 5 Cyclones/Calibrators and a box of 50 sampling cassettes, or a 1-pump kit that includes 1 Cyclone/Calibrator and a box of 50 sampling cassettes.
