NORTHWOOD MACHINE MANUFACTURING COMPANY, Louisville, Ky., introduces the Northwood Maverick Router, which polishes, routes and edges natural stone and other materials, including quartzite, porcelain, Dekton, tile, ceramic, slate and soapstone.
The EZ Cut sink software offers a simplified step-by-step programming tool that can be used in place of Alphacam’s custom Stone Vision® software for Northwood, although Alphacam creates up to eight correctly-sequenced toolpaths, including bullnose, waterfall and others, with a single click of the mouse. It also utilizes industry-standard DXF, DWG and IGES file types in the programming setup.
An automated tool management system using barcode technology reduces human error and material waste while increasing overall efficiency.
Built with the accuracy of the FANUC servo motor yields better reliability and machine longevity. Developed with the smaller shop in mind, it comes with a 6’ X 12’ worktable.
All Northwood machines come with a one-year warranty and field technicians are on standby for phone support. On-site installation and maintenance are provided, along with a full week of on-site training in the buyer’s shop.
