With its V-shaped design, this new drum cutter offers a simple solution that’s extremely effective in enabling energy savings
Designed to save time and money, the angles of the drum enable energy savings of up to 40%. Thanks to the V-shaped design that enables the user to cut with a flat base, no material is left untouched between the drums. It basically works like a bucket, which makes it easier to use, while conserving time and energy.
At the same time, the new VC 2000 maintains such standard Epiroc features as robust spur gears, adoptable high-torque gear motor and the QuickSnap retaining system for fast and easy pick changing. It also comes with the Pro bracket, which leads all hydraulic hoses through the center of the extension arm and out of harm’s way. A dust-preventing water spraying system is also available.
