PRODIM USA LLC, Fort Pierce, Fla., unveils several upgrades to its Proliner measuring device and software.

Upgrades to the hardware include an improved grip on the measuring pen for easier handling; better visibility to the measuring wire, and improved battery management.

Prodim has also upgraded its key software packages. Generation 4.X software has been updated to bring new editing features for easier alignment of cut-outs. The “closed-shape check” is a new feature for creating closed production pieces. And, the company has also released Prodim Factory 3.0 to improve the data flow from the Proliner for easier use in its Factory Draw modules. Projects and pictures can now be imported using a smartphone. A slab stock overview has also been added to the Factory Slab Creator module.

And, the company has also developed two new Android smartphone applications connecting with the Proliner. The Proliner Remote app enables operators to use their smartphone as the Proliner remote controller. And, Proliner Update uses the internet connection of the smartphone to update the Proliner software anywhere, anytime.
