NORTHWOOD DESIGNS, INC., Antwerp, N.Y., announces the release of Slabsmith 2023.6, an updated software with 3D features within the Perfect Match™ layout module which allows templaters to show full-height walls, fireplace mantels and even entire rooms created from a standard 2D DXF template.
In addition to the 3D features, cost and pricing properties have been added, as well as the conversion of the inventory activity log to a “temporal history” which when utilized with an upcoming report module provides the ability to obtain more detailed information about inventory, value, trends and use.
An updated “live scan” module offers physical inventory reconciliation. It can run on a small tablet along with a barcode scanner to make correcting mistakes in inventory and slab locations a simple operation.
