OMNI CUBED, Shingle Springs, Calif., introduces the 90° versions of its Stealth Seamer™ line for a new way to create high-quality perpendicular seams.
Available in an auto or manual setup, the 90° Stealth is a compact, portable solution for creating mitered aprons, butt joints and compound corners. It also can be used in an inverted setup for inside corners.
Smooth-turning knurled rollers align pieces, and fine-tune levelers help dial-in the angle for precise seams. An integrated counter-pressure leveler helps overcome the lower out-swing of vertical pieces.
The Manual version uses manually-pumped non-marking vacuum cups to hold non-porous pieces, including leathered and textured surfaces. Easy to read indicators allow monitoring vacuum pressure at a glance, and cups can be re-pumped without loss of remaining pressure, unlike screw-knob or flip-lever suction cups.
The Auto version with powered vacuum cups expands the range of the seam aligner, allowing for grip on heavier setups such as waterfall edges. The powered cups also provide additional hold for use with non-porous surfaces.
A powerful, compact vacuum pump maintains maximum pressure for all cups in the Auto system; the high-capacity pump runs on AC power or AA batteries.
Manual 90° Stealth Seamers are sold indivudially. Auto 90° units are sold in pairs with a convenient storage case.
