BORAL NORTH AMERICA, Roswell, Ga., expands its Versetta Stone® lineup with Carved Block, a profile reminiscent of split-face stone. A larger format, Carved Block is ideal for modern home styles and light-commercial applications.
Carved Block ranges from 16”- to 20”-wide by 8”-tall, oriented across a 36” X 8” panel. The profile comes in two colors: Midnight, is a dark gray hue with almond tones; and Sea Salt, a creamy blend of beige and khaki for a soft, neutral look.
“Carved Block is a complete departure from our other profiles, offering a much-more-contemporary aesthetic,” says Aaron Sims, product manager for the Boral Building Products division. “It fills a need for something different in masonry, for a look that is clean and modern against other popular trends such as large-format floor tiles and expansive quartz slabs.”
Versetta Stone panels install easily with nails or screws and feature an integrated moisture management system. They do not require additional footings for support. The stone veneer carries a Class A fire-resistance rating and passes freeze/thaw testing.
