ALPHA® PROFESSIONAL TOOLS, Oakland, N.J., offers the Beveling Auxiliary Base, an accessory that adapts a hand-held polisher or grinder to create straight and beveled edges on stone.
The unit allows users to work on edges to lock a tool to a specific angle, and then provides a base to keep true during work on a surface. It can be configured to grind and polish from a 15° Hollywood bavel to a 45° beveled edge.
The unit can also be configured to grind and polish a 90° straight edge, and is excellent for preparing surfaces for seamless countertop installations.
The design accommodates various polishers/sanders/variable-speed grinders with a 5/8”- 11 spindle. The unit can be used wet or dry; an exterior water-feed system is included.
