IQ POWER TOOLS, Moreno Valley, Calif., introduces a new 10” hard material blade. The iQTS244™ 10” Q-Drive™ Hard Material Blade is designed to work with the company’s iQTS244® dry cut tile saw, which is capable of cutting porcelain and stone, as well as hard ceramic.
Created specifically for professional tile-setters and contractors, the iQTS244 saw features fully integrated dust control technology, allowing users to cut inside or outside with no water and no dust. Although the company also offers accessories including a miter attachment, extension table and vacuum port, users began asking for a blade designed for working with granite and harder porcelain tiles, according to Sarah Hurtado, marketing communications manager for iQ.
The result is a 10” blade that incorporates the latest in diamond tool technology and is capable of providing a faster, more precise cut to even hard granites and hard porcelain. The blade includes iQ’s proprietary composition of diamond concentration, metal type and flange thickness, engineered to cut tile dry with precision cuts that match the quality of a wet blade.
