Marmo Meccanica North America, Rochester Hills, Mich., offers the LTZ line of straight horizontal polishing/profiling machines for round and flat edges for pieces up to 10cm thick.
The LTZ models feature one calibrating/drip-cutting unit, two ingoing chamfering spindles, and eight polishing spindles for 150mm wheels. (The first and second polishing spindles include a mechanical stop for diamond tools. The 8221 adds on two outgoing chamfering spindles.
Both machines include a touchscreen control panel, mounted on an articulated arm, that includes preset customizable programming for edge types and particular processing needs. The monobloc construction requires no separate foundation for installation; waste water is drained via two collectors.
