PRUSSIANI USA, St. Louis, offers the WOW!, an entry-level CNC bridge saw from Prussiani Engineering of Albano Sant’Alessandro, Italy. The standalone monobloc machine features a cutting area of 141 ¾” X 86 5/8”, with a 13 ¾” Z-axis stroke, with four- and five-axes interpolated.
The unit can handle blades up to 625mm Ø (diameter) on a spindle motor rated at 18 HP with a maximum X/Y travel speed of 147 fpm.
Programming is with a touchscreen using the company’s P-camcut software, which can automatically caluculate tool paths and nest cuts; it also uses high-definition photos of slabs to spot imperfection and allow on-screen drag-and-drop placement of tool paths.
The saw also includes Stonapp™ for remote monitoring of your production through a common smartphone. Users can track work performance of all company-owned Prussiani machines, check details for each job, and receive notifications of machine progress.
