STONE PRO EQUIPMENT, Effingham, Ill., introduces the CNC Stone Shark, a portable CNC for producing bowl holes and other cutouts in natural stone and other hard surfaces.
The 120-lbs machine is placed on a hard surface, and uses (after attaching it to air service) built-in vacuum cups for hold-down. The unit uses a water-cooled 2 HP spindle, powered by standard 110V 20-amp service, to step-cut configurations up to 36” wide. The included software converts DXF data into a cut-out template that can be stored for repeat jobs.
The machine is currently available from Braxton-Bragg LLC and Regent Stone Products.
