StoneMen Solutions Inc., Charlotte, N.C., now represent Fravizel, a manufacturer of quarrying and handling machinery for the natural-stone industry.
Based in Alcanede, Portugal, Fravisel offers diamond-wire cutters, stone turning machines, stone splitting machines, machines for stone loading and drilling equipment.
The Tracked Drilling Machine (MPL) is used for squaring (to transform mass into blocks). It is autonomous, electric and pneumatic, with horizontal drilling and movement. The unit can be remotely controlled, with hole flushing by water or air; drilling-rod lengths are 2,400mm (94.5”) to 4,000mm (157.5”).
It can be remotely controlled, with side-shift and tilting-tower capabilities. The machine’s water jet . opens and closes at the same time as the hammer is activated.
StoneMen Solutions will offer sales of Fravizel’s complete line, along with parts and service.
