OMAX® CORP., Kent, Wash., announces a new addition to its GlobalMAX® pump options with the addition of a 10HP pump for its GlobalMAX JetMachining® Centers. Designed for shops looking for an economical, industrial abrasive waterjet, the new pump delivers 30,000 psi to the cutting nozzle while providing users with OMAX’s innovative drive systems, direct-drive pump technology and Intelli-MAX® software.
The GlobalMAX JetMachining Centers can cut almost any material in any thickness up to 5” (0.125m) without any heat-affected zone. Several compatible accessories are available, including a terrain follower, a pneumatic drill and a bulk garnet-feed hopper. Owners are also able to upgrade to a larger horsepower pump if their needs outgrow the 10HP unit.
