ARTO BRICK, Gardenia, Calif., introduces its new Japanese Terracotta Collection, featuring the handcrafted quality of traditional Japanese tile-makers.
This high-fired terracotta delivers porcelain-level performance with ultra-low water absorption. Available colors are: Kuro, dramatic black-grey tones with striking metallic highlights; Kogecha, neutral tones ranging from warm taupe to rich dark brown, and; Suna, with luminous shades ranging from pale cream to rich copper and bronze.
An artisanal glazing process creates high color variation, metallic sheens and rich textures. No two tiles are exactly alike. Rated for demanding indoor/outdoor applications, the heavy texture provides natural slip resistance.
Tiles are 7.5” X 5.5” and are approximately 5/8” thick.
