NEW RAVENNA, Exmore, Va., announces Heyday™ by Cean Irminger, the third edition of her KIDDO collection of mosaic designs
The 11 designs are handcrafted in Virginia of stone and Glazed Basalto™. The materials in the collection have been honed, polished and tumbled to create varying textures. Several designs are accented with metallics, including brass and “Aurum,” which is Basalto Orvieto with a hand-glazed 24k gold overlay.
Irminger, New Ravenna’s creative director, says Heyday is a love letter to the delights of childhood, and grew from the spring of 2020 when she and her husband became their daughter’s teachers. Images for Heyday draw from such delights as balloons, dominos, fireflies and the moon.
Heyday is designed to be installed on walls and floors, both indoors and out.
