LAMINAM, S.P.A., Moderna, Italy, introduces Gemini, a new porcelain collection, which includes the first products of twO, a 2 mm thickness.
The Gemini Collection attempts to recreate a dialogue between humans and nature, with a focus on the lifecycle of the natural surface from its creation through to its final application.
Colors in the Gemini Collection include;
- Luce, a delicate, snowy pastel tone;
- Grano, which features beige-hazelnut flecks;
- Pelle, an antique pink with earthy flecks;
- Acero, a soft red work of art;
- Cielo, a blue-gray tone;
- Cenere, a dark yet warm shade;
- Muschio, a chromatic effect that’s an extension of nature;
- Flora Luce, a design surface that pays homage to the interplay of light and shadow, and;
- Flora Pelle, similar to Flora Luce, it speaks of delicacy and refinement.
Sold in both twO’s new 2mm thickness and in 2mm+, which reinforces the basic slab with a fiberglass mesh attached to the back with a special adhesive. twO is sold in 100cm X 300cm slabs, with twO having a nominal thickness of 1/16”, and twO’s 2mm+ showing a nominal thickness of 1/8”.
The furniture industry and interior design applications are the main uses for twO’s 2mm thickness, while twO 2mm+ is suitable for those applications, as well as interior and exterior wall coverings.
