COSENTINO GROUP, Coral Gables, Fla., introduces Dekton Pietra Edition, a continuation of its Pietra Kode, taking inspiration from Mediterranean stones.
The new colors include:
- Trevi, a cream base marked by a parallel pattern of irregular veins in shades of gray and blue and inspired by Roman silver travertine;
- Nebu, another color inspired by Roman travertine with beautiful irregularities;
- Adia, a versatile finish with a cream tone and soft white lines with a silky finish;
- Ava, inspired by Ceppo di Gre from the Lombardy region that stands out for its rough appearance;
- Polar, a takeoff on the Spanish stone Campaspero with beautiful irregularities in a base of beige tones with grayish and cream veins, small inlays and fossils, and;
- Sandik, which offers the traditional elegance of Spanish Crema Marfil marble with a creamy backdrop and subtle hints of gray.
Dekton is an ultracompact porcelain surface and is resistant to UV rays, scratches, stains and thermal shock. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, from facades and cladding to paving and may be used indoors or out. It is manufactured in large-format slabs up to 144cm X 320cm and is available in five different thicknesses – 0.4cm, 0.8cm, 1.2cm, 2cm and 3cm.
Dekton is also carbon neutral and its colors incorporate up to 85 percent recycled materials from its own manufacturing process. It comes with a 25-year warranty.
