DALTILE, Dallas, launches a new proprietary “Lava” finish for quartz surfaces.
The new finish creates the most-realistic natural stone feel available, according to Roy Viana, director of natural stone and slab for Dal-Tile LLC. He explains that through extensive research and development with experts in the field of abrasives, the Lava finish is an ultra-realistic stone surface texture in quartz.
To introduce this new finish, Daltile is offering it on Liberty Black, a new product launching nationwide in the company’s extra-large, 136” X 79” ONE Quartz slab line. Liberty Black is a classic deep black marble that incorporates a midnight black background with flowery vein details to create an open white vein pattern.
Liberty Black is available in both ¾” and 1 ¼” thicknesses with either the Lava or a polished finish. Like all ONE Quartz slabs, it is non-porous, scratch resistant and stain resistant.
