The new colors, part of HanStone’s UNVEIL collection, are:

  • Tahitian Cream, which mirrors the beauty of Taj Mahal quartzite, with crack veins diagonally stretching across the rich base;
  • Riviere, inspired by the scenic view of the Scottish Highlands, it features thick and cracked veins with transparency stretched across the cool grey base, and;
  • Antello, which portrays the beauty of snowfall on the red rocks of Antelope Canyon; the grey veins complement the blend of gold and lemon accents on a bright white base.

The Next Generation Quartz technology has three primary focuses: the use of clean energy and recycled water; decreased amounts of crystalline silica, and; new quartzite-looking colors.

Through its investment of $4.6 million in solar panels at its manufacturing plant in Korea, the company is able to decrease CO2 emissions by 690 tons with a 15 percent reduction in energy use. And, through the use of premium materials, the company has cut the percentage of crystalline silica in its products. For example, Tahitian Cream contains only 50 percent crystalline silica, compared with 93 percent for more traditional quartz.
