CARAGREEN, Raleigh, N.C., is now offering the latest recycled glass surface from the South Orange, N.J.-based manufacturer glass² International Inc.
Dubbed Antarctica, these slabs contain recycled pieces of black and white glass fused together into slabs for countertops and other surfaces.
Antarctica joins other glass² colors: Ash White, Aquamarine, Azurite, Chorus, Coral Blue and Ocean Blue. And, unlike products made from crystalline silica, glass is composed of amorphous silica, which is not considered as dangerous due to its non-crystalline geometric structure.
Made from 99 percent recycled glass, glass2 colors are sold in 55” X 118” slabs in 2cm and 3cm options. Non-porous and easy to clean, glass2 colors are ideal for vanities, feature walls and reception areas, and are perfect for backlighting.
