Cosentino North America, Coral Gables, Fla., introduces three new colors to its Dekton® Industrial Collection.

Drawing inspiration from Dekton’s Trilium, introduced last year, architect/designer Daniel Germani envisioned three new designs that capture the organic texture and essence of weather-worn stone and aged metals. The Industrial Collection is intended to be both relaxed and modern through its rough, expressive aesthetics; to create a rich design with varied subtle effects, the Industrial collection has a never-before-seen matte-gloss finish.

The new colors are:

Orix, mimicking the industrial appearance of eroded cement with a multi-tonal color palette of greys, blues and greens;
Nilium, subtly blending hues of silver and white, conveying both the delicate elegance and inherent strength of metal; and
Radium, resembling acid-washed steel, juxtaposing warm earth tones against cold blue and green hues. Similarly to Trilium, it is manufactured using the same sustainable-production methods, using up to 80% recycled materials.

“The Industrial Collection celebrates the beauty of metals and cement as they transform over time,” Germani said. “Imperfections caused by oxidation and natural degradation create unique colors that capture the richness and depth of organic processes. It was only through the incomparable technology of Dekton that we were able to explore these processes and subsequently create these designs.”

All of the new colors share Dekton’s UV- and scratch-resistant properties, and can be used for a variety of interior and exterior applications for countertop, flooring, cladding and more.

The Industrial Collection embodies Cosentino’s continued commitment to sustainability, leading the industry with the most advanced and sustainable manufacturing practices. Cosentino’s investment in Research and Development has also made it possible to recycle 98% of water used, maintain clean air, support energy efficiency, and responsibly manage waste disposal.

“The architecture and design industry’s response to Dekton Trilium has been both humbling and inspiring,” says Massimo Ballucchi, Director of Marketing for Cosentino North America. “Every accolade and award has validated our vision and the need for an expanded offering in the marketplace. We are so grateful for our continued collaboration with Daniel Germani, and his vision that brought the full Dekton Industrial Collection to life.”
