FIFTH GEAR TECHNOLOGY, Addison, Ill., introduces SPEEDfolder, a simple and free web-based app for organizing and scheduling jobs in a fabrication shop.
The software allows users to manage projects, including information on materials, edges, backsplashes and sink/faucet/accessory details, and also organize work into job folders. Users can add fields to note custom details to aid a shop’s workflow or specify certain items or procedures and include images and photos for reference.
The app also includes an Events section to schedule templating, fabrication, installation and billing. It also integrates with Google Calendar to provide a full-shop overview of jobs in progress.
